another post

I'm really tired. Wrote a mediocre poem; plan to take it to school tomorrow and make a couple of trustworthy friends read it and inform me if it sucks excessively. Still can't play the Rimsky-Korsakov. Have decided to build time machine, hunt him down, teach him to play the harp, then force him to learn the harp part he wrote for Russian Easter. Then, just for good measure, shoot him. (I get very bitter about composers who think they can write for any instrument just because they can play the piano. Idiots. No, what's possible on the clarinet is in fact different from what's possible on the harp.)

Nothing else has happened at all since my last post. No, wait. We took the TAKS test. That may stand for Tally of Animal-Killing Stoats (I recommend that you go look up "stoat" in the dictionary), Tears Are Kind of Sad (credit for this one to Jimmy), or Teachers Are Kissing Students (allegations of impropriety, anyone?). That's all I have to say for now. Goodnight.

Do you mean to say that the harp and the piano are different? *gasp* And here I thought that with ten years of piano experience I would take to the harp like a duck to plum sauce.

Ah, well. I'm sorry, my little harp, but our love is not to be.
