So, it's a 5-6 page paper, double-spaced, and I put so much thoughtful time and effort into picking out quotes (ended up with 15 from each work) and writing one-sentence analyses of all of them that I have managed to accumulate nearly four pages of quotes and short analyses. Single-spaced.

... I feel that I have in some way beat the system.

Well, I'm not tired at all, so I'm going to stay up working for a while longer. It's probably not a good sign that I'm almost enjoying writing this fucker, but I'm starting to feel like I've defeated it, and that makes it... well, almost enjoyable.

Hmm. I should probably dig a quote or two out of the end of Othello that shows the characters learning some kind of lesson. I've got that for Emma. Then again, maybe that's one of the points of difference between the two works, since I can't actually remember anyone in Othello learning a lesson other than "Whoops, now I'm dead."
