Ugh, homework.
Jan. 23rd, 2005 07:44 pmSo, this weekend, I had to write an essay about "My Hobbies and Weekends" for Chinese class. My usual strategy for these things is to write them in English first, using constructions that I know I can translate, and then translate them later. However, the necessity of using words and grammatical constructions that I can translate means that my English draft is... kinda special.
"Target is a good store. I buy food, notebooks, pens, and videos at Target."
"I like having a car. My car is red."
Those are the only really special bits, actually. The rest of it just sounds... not quite normal.
Hee. "I like having a car. My car is red."
