So, the movie I saw tonight, The Count of Monte Cristo, marks the first time I have ever heard anyone use the word "gendarme" in a sentence. I am easily amused. Oh, and possibly the best line of dialogue ever written:

"I find that smuggling is just the life for me and I would be delighted to kill your friend the maggot."
