I just got an email from ThinkGeek pitching this, which I think is pretty great, actually. If I had a spare 200 bucks lying around, I'd probably buy it. (Of course, at the moment I don't have a spare five bucks on account of a somewhat confusing crisis involving an identity thief of some kind, my grandmother's bank account, a check she wrote me, and several totally unjustified fees, thanks, Wells Fargo, but never mind that; should be resolved by Friday anyway.)

If you don't have the time or inclination to click on the link, let me sum up: it's a handheld biofeedback device (about the size of a credit card, judging by the one image that gives any sense of scale) with a sensor for you to put your thumb on and a line of blue lights, which will light up, presumably in various configurations, to measure your overall state of physical relaxation. When you do things that make you more relaxed, the device lets you know that you're getting more relaxed, so you can remember what you did and do it again the next time you get stressed or anxious.

Of course, if you're anxiety-ridden enough to be delighted by that, you may also find the UV disinfectant wand advertised in the same email to be of some use in making you feel safer.
