oh, how interesting
Nov. 6th, 2002 10:10 amWell, life is interesting. Yesterday Shadow called (on which note, Shadow/other names, I have no idea what I should be calling you, which name do you like best?), which was kind of unexpected and pleasant. And we talked about time travel. Huzzah for time travel. (I've now got about 3 people who've offered to help me build a time machine in exchange for free rides once we get it working. Now all I need is to actually, like, know how to build a time machine.)
Found out that the band clinic is Nov. 16, the day I was expecting to go to RenFest. I don't know what exactly I'm going to do. New director wants to make the clinic mandatory, which is stupid and annoying, since all it's about is giving you a chance to do better on the auditions. It might still be optional, in which case I can just skip it, or it might not, in which case I'll find some way to convince my mom that it's not, technically, lying to say that I'm staying home because I'm sick.
In other news, Rick Perry got reelected. Great. We have a grown man with the maturity of a 3-year-old nominally in charge of the state.
Hmm. The guy sitting next to me just looked up the verb "to fellate" on Dictionary.com. This is definitely going to be an interesting day.
