Nov. 18th, 2002 09:03 amArgh. I'm really tired. Yesterday was the Houston Youth Symphony concert and I ruined a callus, which is really annoying. (I also spent about 2 hours hanging out with the percussionists and trying to explain to them why I was wearing gloves backstage even though it wasn't especially cold. No, see, stiff fingers are bad. Very very bad.) So, now I'll have to take about 2 weeks to rebuild calluses... sigh.
I really shouldn't be posting. I should be doing work. There, that's my pang of conscience for the morning.
I wrote 2500 words of the novel yesterday. Jesus Christ. I came out of it so amazingly sick of a couple of my main characters. But, on the bright side, I'm finally all caught up. Huzzah.
All right. Summer. Apparently you weren't paying attention when I asked this in an earlier entry. The night that you and I and Mary went to see a meteor shower and got lost and so forth. At around 5 in the morning, we found ourselves wandering around a defunct artsy shopping center next to a Home Depot (and it was kind of creepy). What the hell is the name of that place?
Oh - and I bought L.A. Woman this weekend. Huzzah.
