the accursed novel yet again

elsajeniRight. Just wrote a scene that I really, really didn't want to write. Feel slightly better now, but won't be able to write anything more on that chapter until tomorrow, which means I'll be about a thousand words behind. Ugh. Damn writerly compromises.
Still debating the best way to kill off this poor character. Still. And, technically, he died 20 chapters ago. But I've been looking at more accurate ways to kill him that are less likely to result in lengthy and stupid death scenes.
The end result of all this internal debate is that I now have written in the margin of my notebook, in very large, very legible, printed letters: SLASH FEMORAL ARTERY?
I really do hope that none of my teachers happen to see that.
