elsajeniThe college interviews are over with. (Of course, I still need to finish a couple of applications by, oh, Monday, but never mind that.) My harp rehearsal for tonight is canceled. And the novel is going smoothly again.
The narrator and her sort-of-ex-boyfriend - let me just say here that their relationship gets more complicated with every chapter and I've long ago given up any hope of understanding it, since I am no longer the one making the rules in this novel - are about to have Make-Up Sex. I think. At the moment they're eating cookies and making awkward conversation about A Tale of Two Cities.
Which reminds me, I never did write that A Tale of Two Cities fanfic that I promised Susan I'd whip up. I'm sure it wouldn't take long. I should do that sometime soon. Maybe I'll write Waiting for Godot fic, too... we read that in English before I became a pathetic slash fangirl, but all the same I was pretty sure Vladimir and Estragon were having sex. Wow, um, please don't read this paragraph.
Oh, and I've discovered a website after my own heart. You know how I collect idiot quotes from people I know? Here's someone who collects them from strangers!

Incidentally, if you are one of the people whose idiot quotes I collect... keep up the good work, because the person with the most quotes in my book at the end of the school year gets a free box of Girl Scout cookies.
