Follies update!

I've borrowed a tambourine from school. It makes me very happy. I carried it around for the entire afternoon today, and nobody seemed to think it at all unusual, except for about 3 people. Those 3 asked, "Why do you have a tambourine?" Everyone else just sort of accepted it. "Ah, yes, Betsy's got a tambourine. How perfectly normal."

And the costume is underway. I'm working on sewing thread loops onto the back of it, which I can then put a ribbon through, so that it will actually close. Trust me, guys, this dress is incredible. I can't believe my Insane Fundamentalist Aunt actually wore this thing.

And, in other news, I went to the GSA movie night and it was great fun. We even got Taylor to agree that a boy in the movie was hot, which is not an easy thing to do.

And now I'm going to sleep, because I have a ton of stuff to do tomorrow -- still have to write 3 essays for this fucking scholarship application and also have to do homework, y'know, memorize a poem in Spanish and do 10 or 12 math problems and read a shitload of Mill and maybe get caught up on my English quotes -- and I have to get up at 7 to do it. So yeah, sleep. G'night.

I looked at fanfiction.net the other night. Apparently, we are the first people to come up with Shakespeare slash. Go us!
