So, I spent a lot of the past week feeling awful. I've always been aware, objectively, of the fact that the Earth is both revolving around the Sun and rotating on its axis, but this past week, every time I moved my head, I could feel it doing so. It is not fun for this to happen. I know, it's a good thing that the Earth does this, but when you can feel it spinning around nauseatingly every time you move your head-- including when you're trying to sleep, while you're at the movies staring at the Harry Potter preview and trying to send telepathic messages to Alan Rickman telling him to come to your home immediately and not ask questions, and while you're just sitting very still with your eyes closed trying to get the Earth to quit spinning around like that and something makes a noise and you move your head before you can remember that you're trying not to-- you just want it to stop already. Never mind getting flung off into space; at least you won't feel like shit anymore.
I figured it was the shift in sleep patterns. Something about the way I'm now sleeping and eating was, I assumed, confusing my body. And then it occurred to me-- and this is the point at which we say, "Betsy, meet your brain. You're going to need to spend more time together."
Medication for anxiety is generally addictive. Therefore, if you're too lazy to take it for long enough that there's no longer any in your system, you will experience withdrawal symptoms.
Stopped being lazy and took medicine. World no longer spinning around unpleasantly. So that's how logic works.
