Never mind that so does virtually everyone else (including the drug dealers who stole a girl's phone who I know, and now that she's gotten it replaced she occasionally gets calls from their, ah, clients who haven't bothered to update their address books recently); you are special, and therefore your cell phone must be a very extra-special one that makes you extra-bonus-cool. Because I don't CARE how cute your ringtone is, I don't CARE that it's the "I see a little silhouetto of a man" bit of "Bohemian Rhapsody" or the Russian Dance from The Nutcracker, and I REALLY do not care HOW FUCKING SPECIAL AND COOL YOU ARE. Hehe, my very first college course (Race & Ethnicity)...our professor was completely awesome. She had three rules. 1-Don't disrupt class by coming in late or leaving early. 2-If you're missing class, let her know asap (preferably before class) so she doesn't worry (she really is a VERY caring person even though she seemed like a bitch as first glance). And 3-do NOT let your phone/pager go off during class. She's known for the semester that someone's phone rang during the final. She answered it for him and told the person (who turned out to be his MOMMY!) "I'm sorry, he's busy right now. He'll call you back next semester when he's retaking this couse because you just cost him his final exam"
