I'm really bored. School's over and I'm back at home, so I have crappy internet and crappy TV and no good movies to watch and nothing I want to read because my parents gave my copy of Monstrous Regiment to my stupid cousin and my boyfriend is in stupid Florida (well, on his way to stupid Florida, anyway, and I probably should try not to be mean to Florida because it's really not its fault) and no one's in town and waaaah.

On the bright side, I GOT CACTI. My small, forlorn group of readers may or may not be aware, but I really like cacti. They're cool. But you don't really get good cacti in this part of the country, just those sad little flat round ones that my neighbor has that lean out into my driveway so they get run over all the time, so I was very excited when I went to Tucson this summer and there were cool cacti all over the place, and I decided I wanted to get some kind of little bitty cactus and take it to school, and it would be like having a pet, but lower-maintenance and actually allowed in my room. But I never actually did. But now I have TWO CACTI. They're itty-bitty and very cute, and my mom also got me cute pots to put them in, and a book about how to take care of them, and special cactus dirt to put in the cute little pots when I transplant them (which I'm doing this weekend). Teeny cacti! Special cactus dirt! Eeee!

Anyway. Back to being bored. Catch y'all later.

i got a cool flowering cactus recently. you should see it next semester. i want to get more cacti - it's hard to kill them, and they add to the room.
