Wait, reindeer?

Driving around town with Dana last night when the song "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" came on the radio:

RADIO: "Grandma got run over by a reindeer/ Walking home from our house Christmas Eve/ You may say there's no such thing as Santa..."
ME: *singing along in a joyous and seasonably festive manner* "You may say there's no such thing as reindeer..."
DANA: ... What?
MY INTERNAL MONOLOGUE: ... Did I just say "reindeer"? Why would you not believe in reindeer? Shit. Quick! Bluff!
ME: "You may say there's no such thing as reindeer," of course. I mean, that's what ran her over. No one said it was Santa's reindeer in particular.
DANA: Bullshit. Anyway, why the hell would you not believe in reindeer?
ME: What do you have against people who don't believe in reindeer?
DANA: ... The fact that reindeer demonstrably exist?
ME: Reindeer hater.
DANA: What?
ME: I mean... reindeer-hater hater.
DANA: Whatever.
MY INTERNAL MONOLOGUE: Hah! She gave up on the conversation first! Therefore, we win!
