... and I thought it had been a bad day earlier.

First of all, I had to go return stuff at the Galleria with my mom, and because we only got store credit at one place I had to try to find other stuff from that store that I'd be willing to wear, which is impossible because it was American Eagle, where my aunt shops for me every damned Christmas because her three kids (who, let me point out, are male and preppy; possibly she has not noticed that I am neither) get all their clothes there, and none of their stuff fits me because for some reason they cut their sleeves extremely long and narrow, so I have sleeves suction-cupped to my arms and hanging down to my knuckles, and their shirts don't allow for boobs and their pants don't allow for an ass. So I poked around the guys' clothes and looked morose, and was forced to try on 3 pairs of guys' jeans, none of which fit but one of which I bought anyway because they sorta fit and I wanted to be allowed to leave. Then she made me try on more jeans, which she was convinced were cut to accomodate an ass because they fit her; apparently she has not noticed that my ass is in fact about 3 times the size of hers. So I tried on 7 pairs of jeans that didn't fit, then announced that I was done trying on pants that weren't going to fit, that I wanted to go get lunch, and that immediately upon leaving the Galleria I was going to join a nudist colony so I would never have to try on pants again.

So we went to Chili's. And OMG A ROACH. It was very alarming. It was on the wall right behind me and I was very sure it was going to attack me and my mom, for some reason, decided that she wouldn't smush it, she would just sweep it off the wall onto the floor, and instead of landing on the floor it vanished and probably went and hid in my shopping bag or something.

And then I had to do work. Lots of work. Work that involves stuff I learned in calculus 2 years ago and don't remember and of course there couldn't be so much as a handy chart in my textbook, could there, that would be too convenient, and eventually I threw a tantrum and went to dinner and got ambushed by people I don't like. So, crappy day so far, right?

So then I came upstairs and was sitting innocently at my desk when a small roach lunged at me from under the printer. I leaped to my feet, flailed, flung my chair out of the way so I could effect my escape, and then my feet somehow ended up... over there somewhere, rather than directly under me, which is where I usually keep them when I'm standing up, and one foot smashed into the wall toes-first, then bounced back and banged into part of my desk heel-first, and I went down like a ton of bricks and clonked my head on the ladder, and somewhere in all the chaos the roach disappeared again, and it's been more than half an hour and my toe still really hurts and I'm becoming concerned that I might have actually injured it.

So, in general, wah. And ow. Mostly ow, though.
