YAY!

MY MATH HOMEWORK MAKES PERFECT SENSE. OH MY GOD. THIS IS UNPRECEDENTED.

Admittedly, in order for it to make perfect sense I had to go to office hours and have a conversation that went something like this:

PROF: Hi!
ME: Number 20 OMG so confused.
PROF: (who is, you may guess by the exclamation points, a cheerful kind of guy) Okay! Look! *writes exactly what I have as my first step on the board*
ME: *nods eagerly*
PROF: *writes exactly what I have as my second step*
ME: *nods eagerly*
PROF: *writes exactly what I have as my third step, which is where I gave up because it was going to keep going forever and ever*
ME: *nods eagerly*
PROF: *writes ONE MORE TINY STEP*
ME: ... OH!!!!!!
LIGHTBULBS: *come on*
DAWN: *breaks*
METAPHORS FOR SUDDEN UNDERSTANDING: *are metaphorical*
ME: ... nevermind. *scurries back to dorm to finish homework*
PROF: Um, by the way, who are you?

Anyway. HOMEWORK MAKES SENSE. SO EXCITED. YAY.

T.J. Hitchman. He reminds me pleasantly of the best math teacher EVER, Mr. Mazzoni, who I had for my junior and senior years of high school.
