elsajeniSo, a little while ago I went outside to check on some laundry, and there was a toad on the patio. He was a cute toad. He was about 2 inches long and, y'know, toadlike.
So I went over and stood near the toad. And he just sat there. So I said, quietly, "Hello, toad!"
The toad was startled! He hopped! And then he hopped some more! And then...
He hopped right into the wall!
I heard his tiny little toad head make a "bonk" noise. And he sat there and looked confused for a second, and then he turned around and hopped into a hiding place. He looked very upset.
I feel like a horrible person.
So I went over and stood near the toad. And he just sat there. So I said, quietly, "Hello, toad!"
