1. Cranky. Cranky at work. Cranky at people who only get hundred-dollar bills from the bank, instead of twenties like a normal person, and then come to the CARD SHOP when it has been open for HALF AN HOUR and buy SIX DOLLARS' WORTH OF CARDS and expect us to break their hundreds for them. Ass. Also, cranky at gas prices. And at gas station with broken debit machine so I have to pay in cash, which means I can only afford, like, 5 gallons of gas because I prefer not to carry $183,957.43 in cash on me at all times (see "cranky at gas prices").

2. Attention, radio station that claims to play "the best of the eighties": The song "Truly Madly Deeply" by Savage Garden is not the best of the eighties. This is partly because it is not actually very good and therefore is not the best of anything, but also because it is not. From. The eighties. I present as evidence the fact that I danced to that song with boys when I was in middle school (obviously this means my testimony is reliable, because dancing with boys is a fairly memorable event in the seventh grade), which, for those of you keeping score at home, was in 1997 through 2000. Which was not the eighties. (Also, when you google "Savage Garden," the intarweb helpfully informs you that the album "Savage Garden," on which "Truly Madly Deeply" was track 5, was released in 1997. So hah.) My point is: Knock it off, radio station.

3. Pepsi One with Splenda turns out to taste fairly similar to Pepsi. Yay.

4. Went to see Giselle, which shared the program with something called Maninyas, at Houston Ballet last night. Therefore, big dorky ballet-dork entry coming soon.
