I can't focus. The side effects of this shit are making it completely impossible. And I have a paper due tomorrow and another one due on Friday and of course a crapload of other work also and I don't know what to do.

Edit, 11:32 p.m.: It is worth noting that I am way less broken now.

Effexor XR. I'm not sure to what extent the problems are really coming from it and to what extent I'm just blaming it because it's the most recent major change in my chemical makeup, but there have definitely been problems. (Also, it totally stopped working about a week ago. Rar. *calls shrink*)

Yeah, most antidepressants can have an effect on attention span/memory.

What other ADs have you tried? Effexor is an odd choice, especially considering its discontinuation syndrome.

Huh. That's not a side effect I'd ever run into before.

Everything I've taken before was one variety or another of SSRI, but my symptoms weren't getting any better past a certain point on those, no matter how high I went on dosages, so after some debate and finding a new, improved psychiatrist, I ended up on Effexor. And it did work better for quite a while, but recently has gotten less effective again.
