Sep. 16th, 2006 05:08 pmApparently, a confused and angry arctic ice seal has just turned up on a beach in North Carolina. I think the best part about this story is the surprising frequency with which confused, angry arctic ice seals turn up on beaches far south of where they're supposed to be. They've had half a dozen show up in the last two months in North Carolina alone.
Arctic ice seals, it's okay to ask for directions! It doesn't make you any less of a good seal!
... On the other hand, they don't actually specify in the article that the seal was confused, just that it was angry. I extrapolated the confused part myself. Maybe I'm wrong, and the seal was just angry because people kept trying to make it go back to the Arctic. "For fuck's sake! I swam down here on PURPOSE because it's fucking FREEZING up there!"
