an open invitation

I've just decided to invite you all to my harp recital. It's this afternoon, at 4:30 p.m., at First Unitarian Universalist Church, located at 5200 Fannin. Anyone who wants to come please do so. On the other hand, bear in mind that I'm 2nd to last to play, out of 22 students, so only come if you're the patient sort.

Also, the other quote of the day we saw Star Wars was "Use the dark side, Gandalf!" (Thanks, Russell.)

Also I wish I could play like Ray Manzarek. (This would be keyboards, not one of the various other instruments I play.) Grr.

Wowo. An open invitation. Does this mean I get to go too? Bah... too bad I missed it. I would have even been patient enough to sit through everyone else. I'm a patient little bastard, huh? I would've been there if, y'know, it was physically possible. Hell, if I had my way, it wouldn't even need to be physically possible. But alas, space and time have rates that are non-negotiable to the likes of me. Maybe next time. How'd it go?
