today's better moments of dialogue convince me that my life has a scriptwriter hiding somewhere

Talking to my mom about a catalog:
Me: Well, just because I like some of their merchandise doesn't mean I'm their target market. I'm an unsophisticated teenager, but I like weird artsy movies.
Mom: (nodding vaguely) Whatever kind of underwear you want is fine.

I still don't understand that one.

And, from ToK, discussing logical fallacies:
Rainey: It's like saying, "I don't believe that the sun will rise tomorrow."
Alex: Then all the werewolves would be werewolves forever!
(pause while everyone is rendered momentarily speechless)
Marc: Okay, so why was Alex's remark stupid?
(all speaking at once:)
Nabil: Because it's not a full moon every night.
Someone Practical: Um, because there's no such thing as a werewolf.
Me: Because he can't tell the difference between werewolves and vampires?
