Well, today I did nothing at all. The news for today: Stricklin has retired! We have no band director; practice starts the day after tomorrow. Chaos ensues.

I'm not too happy about this whole new-director thing. What if he makes us practice? I am concerned.

Harping with guitar picks is going well. I actually managed to learn the damn part; now I just have to get to a point where I can play it right. Hopefully this point will come soon. Also, I never knew I could get that much noise out of the damn thing.

I know there was something I wanted to say tonight, but now it's gone from my mind, so I shall restrict myself to "goodnight."

holy hell, that guy had sooooo much going on. i kinda felt that bellaire was so freaking luckyt to have a guy dedicated, why the hell did he quit, didn't want to have deal with all the stress? bellaire will be worse off without him, if only becaue of his incredible ambition. granted, i dont remember being especially loved. but he wasn't johnson or granoff, he wasn't hated or incompetant.

oh, he was hated, but it was a cordial sort of hate. we'll miss him. especially since the new guy is already condescending to us. stricklin was a jerk, but at least he wasn't a condescending jerk.
