Hmm. Vile Hamlet. Do not enjoy listening to (reading) people rant and mope unless they are actually already friends of mine. This was the same problem I had with Holden Caulfield. I am rapidly coming to feel that I would all too gladly resolve Hamlet's dilemma by leaping into the story and stabbing him myself. Ah, if only such a thing were possible. Stupid wretched Hamlet.
Honestly, my English teacher isn't helping by continually blathering on about how Hamlet is in late adolescence and therefore represents us and our problems and speaks for us. Thank you, I think I'd actually prefer to be spoken for by Holden Caulfield. And, as mentioned above, I cannot in fact stand Holden Caulfield.
Oddly enough, I'm in a fairly good mood anyway. I have a pleasant book in my backpack, which I persist in reading during class even though really I'm meant to be loaning it to Megan.
Here's stream of consciousness for you. The fact that I typed "meant to" instead of "supposed to" caused it to occur to me that, as nearly as I can recall, Luan left this past weekend. I hope she enjoys herself. Hope she still gets along nicely with Fiona. It's been a while since they've seen each other; I wouldn't be too surprised if they discovered that actually they're not as close as they'd expected. I hope she manages to find a job, too. It's not likely to be easy, but she did say something about jobs picking tomatoes which are arduous but, in compensation, are easy to get and pay fairly well. (The jobs, incidentally, are arduous. Not the tomatoes. Although, arduous tomatoes would probably make for an interesting salad.) So... good luck and enjoyment of the isolated little Isle of Wight to Luan.
Actually, that's all I've got to say. Good day to you all. I am off to play childish games.
