oh, I am just babbling again

elsajeniFinger much better. Still typing funny so it has a little more time to heal fully, but clearly is not planning to develop into chronic tendinitis, so everything is all right I guess. Will probably get through ensemble season all right. Speaking of ensemble, must practice little faux-Irish piece of excrement that is this year's New Piece tonight.
It occurs to me that I have become delinquent in my ballet-reviewing. Very, very delinquent, in fact. Anyway, this past Saturday night I went to see Sleeping Beauty and was smitten. "Smitten?" you ask. "But, at the ballet? By a male dancer? My, you poor sad thing." Yes, indeed, I am a poor sad thing. But at least, if I am going to run around being smitten by male ballet dancers, I have had the good judgment to choose the Czech one. (Zrubek family pressure manifesting itself. Must marry Czech. Probably will never meet a Czech man I like and who likes me, therefore can never marry. Oh well, wasn't planning to anyway.)
McTabby has a new batch of Summary Executions. Oh, my poor, fragile brain. What possesses these people to do such things? How can they think these summaries are good ideas? Why do so many of them insist on using the word "spunk" in ambiguous ways and thereby making sarcastic people's drinks come out their noses?
On the topic of fanfiction, have discovered a new fanfiction archive and fallen in love with it. Thank God for Dana. She is very helpful in terms of finding fanfiction to read that does not suck. (She gives me goodfic, I give her beyondbadfic, it's all even in the end. Sort of.)
