I have rediscovered the joy of Legos, thanks mainly to, um, merchandising.

HARRY POTTER LEGOS!

Yeah. I am now in possession of the "Knockturn Alley" set and want to get the "Snape's Classroom" set next. I am a big dork. But, on the bright side, I have a Lego version of Lucius Malfoy. (At least, the general consensus is that it's supposed to be Lucius Malfoy. It's kind of hard to tell, because he's a Lego.) Also, the set came with various little Lego skulls and things, and also a little Lego brain-in-a-jar, all of which are the same dimensions as the heads of the little Lego people.

(Do you sense where I'm going with this?)

So, you can take their heads off and replace them with skulls, or with a brain in a jar. I am much more entertained by this than I ought to be.

And in other news, Dana's been loaning me Sandman, which I am reading at an alarming rate. Want Volume 5 now. Of course, I was reading Lord of the Rings over again. Keep getting distracted, though. Haven't done much editing of the novel in the past few days, either. (I've finished the first 4 chapters, though. They've become the first 3 chapters because one of them just couldn't be allowed to live. It was a mercy deletion, really it was.) And after Lord of the Rings, I'd intended to reread Peter Pan, and of course I never did finish Dracula. I think it's just fate expressing itself. I am not intended to read anything of literary value.

(Although, honestly, what's the literary value in Dracula? We just think it's literary because it's Victorian. Hah. It's total trash.)
