a surfeit of em-dashes
Feb. 10th, 2004 09:42 pmHad first Relay meeting tonight. Relay is now all online! I can make my team members sign their own damn selves up at last! Huzzah!
Never wrote about Rogers Homecoming; gah. Will do so when pictures are back from being developed and I can use them to remember exactly what went on. All I can really clearly remember at the moment is that Jesus-Stephanie dared me to ask one of the miniature 6th-graders to dance (which I didn't, so as not to be arrested for pedophilia), and that when a few juniors showed up, half the seniors instinctively called them 7th-graders.
Have a lot of pre-written stuff to post, sort of thoughtful stuff, kind of akin to the stuff I posted from the Girl Scout Mission Statement Whatchamacallit. It's all stuff that starts from writing something down -- the start of a sentence, a quote by Galileo, etc. -- and ends up just sort of writing randomly. Also need to post about a certain song, because I just heard it a second ago -- it was the track before the one I'm listening to now -- and oh, God, I miss Luan. (She got her first university rejection letter, telling her that her American education was meaningless and she needed to take another year of high school, take some A-levels, and then try again.) And that's relevant, I swear. You'll see when I post it.
Am going to use Google image-search, googlisms, and my own novel to compile detailed character descriptions with photos. Am also going to do what
deadkerouac did recently and cast my novel using my friendlist, although I probably won't do as pretty a job of it. He cast me as Girl at Jim Morrison's Grave.
