So I just got my ears pierced, and I would like to take a moment to say to all of you who have told me over the years that it doesn't hurt at all: you are filthy liars.

However, it didn't hurt much, and the lady gave me a lollipop afterwards, the cheap kind that turns your tongue bright blue, so that made up for it. And now I have shiny silver thingies in my ears. Yay! Ow! Yay!

I've been telling my mom for years that she should've done that. She says that, at the time, she thought earrings on babies looked trashy. But I've done it now, and yay! Shiny!

Of course it hurts, especially when you have to get the same hole pierced twice and the numbness wears off before the second piercing.

i didn't realize they weren't pierced, shrugs, make sure you don't let them get infected.

the piercing itself doesn't hurt.

it's the 'oh my god' afterwards...

see, i had to get mine repierced cos i got (from the place that did it, no less) some silver earrings, only to find out OH I'M ALLERGIC TO SILVER. so that was crappy. that hurt too. take the advice to keep the piercin's clean.
