I have NOTHING AT ALL to say.
Aug. 28th, 2004 11:23 pmWhy am I not doing my homework? Because seriously, I've got a ton of it. I have physics from hell, and I have a Latin vocabulary test on Monday and about all I can do in that regard is "nauta, nautae, masculine, sailor" (although I HAVE finally learned the first-declension endings) and I have a ton of English reading that I really should do, but I'm just sitting here playing TextTwist and posting on LiveJournal, so evidently silly online things with embedded capital letters in their names have a higher priority in my life than making good grades.
I realized today that I've been switching CDs out like crazy-- listening to two tracks, getting annoyed, putting on a new one, lather, rinse, repeat-- and decided not to listen to anything for a while, and then it took about 3 seconds for me to realize that the reason I found all of my music annoying was that I was having insane Hair cravings, and now I've been listening to Hair for 4 hours. I wish everything were that easy.
Picked up a bunch of movies from home today-- the Neverwhere miniseries (which Dana and I watched straight through one fondly-remembered night this spring), The Princess Bride, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Batman, et cetera. Also picked up George Lucas in Love, because dude, one cannot live a full life without a copy of George Lucas in Love available to be watched at any given moment (and it's only about 7 minutes long, so it takes less time than it would to, say, eat breakfast, or listen to "Stairway to Heaven").
Arrrrgh. Architecture Roommate is getting drunk again. I am growing rapidly tired of this. She gets loud and annoying, and the key problem is that she's a lightweight, so she gets loud and annoying fast. I should flee next door to the quiet study room and repeat Latin nouns out loud until my brain melts and runs out my ears.
Of course, I'm not going to. I'm going to sit here and listen to Hair and play TextTwist.
Come on. I've been trying not to post unless I have something newsworthy or amusing to say, and now I've resorted to typing a rambling post that will attract 0 comments just to avoid memorizing nouns. That's it. Hair, shut up. Architecture Roommate, you will have to find someone else to annoy. I am going next door to study.
Wow. Patheticness of own life as motivating factor. This is new.
