My Latin homework wants to know what a copulative verb is. Now, I do, in fact, know this. It's a linking verb, such as "be" or "seem" or "become." However, the question is formatted like this:

A copulative verb is ________________________________.

And I am fighting an overwhelming urge to write "a verb that sounds kind of dirty" in the blank.

Whose fault is it that my mind is in the gutter? Whose? I shall find them and make them pay.

It's my fault, actually. No really, it partially is.

Mostly because of the gratuitous hobbitslash. Ahem.

It is your fault! Not that I don't appreciate the gratuitous hobbitslash, of course. *shakes fist*

Also, eee! Squirrel!
