Step One:
Wait until the day that your prof holds up pictures of famous people and asks the class to describe them in Chinese.
Step Two:
Wait until the prof holds up a picture of Yao Ming.
Step Three:
Listen as your classmates say "He's very pale" (hen bai) and "He's very, very, very tall" (hen gao hen gao hen gao -- repetitiveness is not frowned upon in this class).
Step Four:
Say, "Yao Ming is hot" (Yao Ming hen haokan).
Step Five:
Receive extremely suspicious looks from your classmates.
(But he is!)
